FAQ: How do I go about reserving a room?

Once you register for the retreat we will contact you to help you pick out the perfect room for your stay. We get asked a lot of questions about "what's the best room for me?" Because our cabins and rooms are so varied, we like to get to know you a bit and come up with the best accommodation recommendation based on you.

What is your cancellation policy?

Life happens for a Dink Diva, and you have to cancel, we get it!  Our cancellation policy is as follows: 100% refundable less the $150 administrative fee up to 45 days prior to event, 50% refundable less $150 administrative fee 30 to 44 days prior to event, and non-refundable within 30 days. We do recommend purchasing trip insurance.

Where can I purchase trip insurance?

You can order trip insurance here: https://www.allianztravelinsurance.com/ or https://www.travelprotection.insure/.  Travel Insurance protects your retreat investment and pre-paid travel expenses related to camp.  Don't lose your investment due to an unforeseen event.

Which airport should I use?

Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport (ATL) is the easiest for direct and less expensive flights. The airport is just over 2 hours from Bison View Lodge, depending on traffic it could take 30 to 45 minutes longer.  Atlanta rush hour starts at 3:30pm and continues to 7pm.

Greenville/Spartanburg (GSP) is also about 2 hours away. It's a smaller airport and easier to get in and out, but harder to find direct flights. The drive is scenic and superior in every way if you're able to make this airport work.

What happens during inclement weather?

Typically, the weather patterns in North Georgia during the spring, summer, and fall are favorable for outdoor pickleball retreats with crystal blue skies, cool to warm mountain breezes, and amazing temperatures. In the event of rain however, we do have a small covered area where we could do drills, as well as a meeting space to discuss off court techniques and coaching.  If it does rain, it is typically a passing shower in the late afternoon, then sunny. We own a VAPTR court drying system that can dry our courts in as little as 20 minutes. For more information on the VAPTR system, see the following link: https://www.vaptr.com/reviews

Is alcohol provided?

Wine is provided with dinner. We encourage you to bring any other type of alcoholic beverage if you would like to have it outside of dinner.

COFFEE / TEA: Coffee, half and half, sugar and an assortment of hot tea will be provided at the barn with breakfast AND in your cabin's kitchen. Iced tea and water will be available in the Barn throughout the day.
